For a free app, Tap Zoo is packed with features. Players are able to create and manage their own zoo, breed animals and immerse themselves in a fully-fledged casual simulation. Yes, this game certainly offers a lot of content that will keep you occupied for hours.



2.Angry Birds

Angry Birds, developed by Clickgamer.com, is the number one paid iPhone app in just about every country around the world. It’s a game which involves catapulting angry birds (of many different species) into the fortresses of the evil pigs, in an attempt to destroy the pigs and recover the stolen eggs. The twist – the fewer Angry Birds you use, the more points you get at the end of the round. It isn’t one of the most popular apps without reason – it’s addictive, original, and has so many levels that it takes ages to finish. Many people believe that it’s the most value-for-money app for iPhone out there, costing only $1.19 and coming with over 250 levels. With over 12 million purchases, over 46 000 positive iTunes reviews (average of 4.78/5) and numerous awards, Angry birds has got to be one of the best games available for iPhone, receiving 5/5 stars.


3.Zombie Farm

Zombie Farm is a casual game that takes some of the farming elements from Farmville and blends them with everyones favorite app genre, zombies. You start the app as a mild mannered looking individual that owns a farm that grows normal farm crops as well as zombies… a bit odd, but acceptable. The game really revolves around your persistence, because all you have to do is sit there and build up a farm Sim City style on square plots that cover a map. Instead of the usual game skill requirements such as speed and intelligence, you must rely on your willingness to pick up the app time and time again due to the fact that everything grows in real time. If a plant or a zombie says that it takes a day to grow, you actually have to wait the full 24 hours. The only way to speed things up, for those of you who want to play more than 10 minute bursts every 4 hours or so, is to earn brains (which are very hard to come by) or buy brains through in app purchasing.

4.Tap Pet Hotel

Tap Pet Hotel is a free building sim app that comes with a hard sell to buy in-app purchases of "treats" that cost real money. The goal is to build up a pet hotel with a variety of different pet rooms, staff, and special rooms for the pets to visit. Achievements encourage you to move through the game and earn extra coins by fulfilling certain criteria. Each room generates an income at different increments, which can be 5 minutes or a whole day. As you build new rooms, you unlock new pets and objects. Some rooms and staff are only available via special treats that require a purchase with real money. Expect a lot of begging from kids to buy these treats. If you do purchase, make sure in-app purchases are turned off on your idevice so that you can control this buying.


5.Poker by Zynga

Zynga Poker is an iOS version of the popular online flash game by the same title. The app is fully integrated with Zynga’s Facebook version, allowing gamers to easily play with their Facebook friends on their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Of course, players can choose to experience Zynga Poker as a guest, without logging into their Facebook profile, but the experience is greatly enhanced by logging in.


6.Smurfs’ Village

Smurfs' Village, players need to spend real money to buy extras. Parents should also be aware that if they have not restricted in-app purchases in their settings, kids can buy Smurfberries if they know their parents' iTunes password. With a wagon of Smurfberries costing $100, the charges can quickly add up. While the game can be played without buying "Smurfberries" to speed things up or gain access to special items, the game is built to make buying enticing. This is a so-called "velvet rope" app that is appealing to younger players through both its cartoon tie-in and its ease of use. The app allows for players to visit friends' villages, but to do so, they need to connect the app to their Facebook account.

Haypi Kingdom is a massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android (Google Phone), and Windows Phone 7. You are a general directing an ancient kingdom in a strategic game - boosting resource production, adventuring in extensive wild land, reaping legendary treasures, equipping your troops with advanced abilities and fighting against enemies - with the ultimate goal of becoming the strongest kingdom in the ancient world. 9.Infinity Blade

Infinity Blade is an action role-playing iOS video game developed by Chair Entertainment and Epic Games released through the Apple App Store on December 9, 2010. It is the first iOS game to run on the Unreal Engine 3. In the game, the player fights a series of one-on-one battles as their character journeys through a derelict castle in a fantasy world in order to fight the God King. These battles have the player swiping on the screen to attack and parry, as well as dodging and blocking enemy attacks.
